Maranatha has several levels of participation.

VISITOR: The first level of participation is being a visitor to a Saturday Sounds of Praise concert, a Sunday or mid-week service. A person in this category enjoys the community outreach component of Maranatha and is often engaged to become more involved by giving a monetary gift during an offering that may be received during a particular service.
GUEST: The next level of participation is when a visitor becomes a regular and frequent participant, possibly taking part as a summer guest. Summer guests often bring their entire family for a .vacation with a purpose. with wholesome program and recreational opportunities. These guests not only receive a tremendous blessing but learn of mission organizations and endeavors around the world and often participate financially and even volunteer with these organizations. Participants in this category also gain a greater appreciation for the ministry of Maranatha to families, individuals and groups and become more involved with their time, talents and treasure.
MEMBER: The pursuit of Membership often begins at this stage. Often families and individuals desire to become members at this stage when then have received a blessing from the Lord at Maranatha and desire to give something back to the Him and Maranatha. Members often spend their vacation, or when possible the entire summer at Maranatha, volunteering in a plethora of opportunities. You will find members performing in the programs, cleaning rooms and serving coffee and cookies to the families and individuals in the guest and visitor categories. These members not only give more of their time and energy but the also participate in the governance of the organization. The membership structure of Maranatha is similar to a church, whereby the members elect a Board and the Board sets the policy for the organization and hires an Executive Director to lead the organization in its mission and purposes. Members give voluntary dues to the organization but their true gifts go far beyond the basic fees when you consider their continual involvement in the ministry of Maranatha.
LEASEHOLDER: The final stage of participation is becoming a leaseholder. Leaseholdership is only available to active members and is the highest level of Maranatha involvement. Historically and presently members have desired to seek one of the leases of a cottage, mobile home or condominium in order to be near the ministry and participate at the highest level of involvement. Leaseholders are regular participants in all programs but more importantly are giving to the ministry daily with offerings of their time, talents and treasures. Leaseholders certainly receive a wonderful benefit in having a summer family cottage at Maranatha but it is secondary to the passion and desire they have to serve the Lord through the ministry of Maranatha.
So why membership at Maranatha?
Why does anyone take part in, and give to any ministry? Because they believe in Maranatha and desire to be a part of a ministry that ministers to the one institution satan is working hardest to destroy.... the Family.
