This first of its kind training opportunity is open to all church technicians and musicians seeking the finest in-depth technology training available in the areas of audio, musicianship, lighting, recording, and media presentation.
All skill levels are welcome as the training will be presented in structured technology tracks, allowing attendees to begin with the basics and build upon them with a series of increasingly advanced class offerings.
This is not a one hour course or overview, but rather an in-depth, multi-day training opportunity offering hands on participation, focused teaching and certification in the areas of audio, lighting and musicianship.
Shure and Maranatha are pleased to acquaint you with a unique and comprehensive training opportunity. We’ve collaborated with Yamaha and Martin Professional to create an affordable, hands-on technical training conference, The Worship Arts Technology Summit.
The link below will tell you a little about this exciting event, and we’ll include some practical advice and audio tips from the Summit Pros. In addition, we’ll give you an update on the current “White Spaces” issue facing wireless system users.
Most technical training conferences are one or two days long —sufficient for fundamental theory, but less so in applying the theory to real situations that happen back at home. There isn’t enough time for real world testing with an expert on hand to serve as a guide.
Really, Really Hands-On
What makes the Summit so different than other "”hands-on” sessions is that applications and principles will be demonstrated in real time, with real musicians in real rooms that aren't conducive to live sound, just like the ones in most real churches. And participants will have their hands on real gear.
Affordable
Fees for the full course of Summit sessions begin at just $149.00 for four days. Meals and lodging are available on site at nominal charges and group discounts apply. The sponsors of the Worship Arts Technology Summit are underwriting much of the costs so that as many church tech teams as possible can attend.
